Situated in Korvala, Korvala log cabins provide self-catering accommodation with a terrace. Each holiday home features a kitchenette, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with bidet and shower. Host was super responsive, and the property was absolutely amazing. So much to do! The cabin was comfortable and easy to access. We saw the northern lights so easily! During the day we tried snowshoeing, watched the dogsleds, cross country skiing, built a fire, end explored the grounds. I wish we had brought sausages to bbq because the bbq house was so cute! We even rented the sauna for an hour for a turn to get warm and jump in the frozen lake I was skeptical at first when the host told us about it but it was a lot of fun and we jumped in 3-4 times. My kids would have loved this and we are plotting a trip back with families.

The property was pre-heated for our late arrival, the roads were well maintained despite the snow and the owners were very communicative and helpful. The cottage has all the modern facilities that one could wish for including comfy beds, sauna, well equipped kitchen and nice siting area. It is beautifully situated by a lake which freezes over in the winter and which warrants privacy and tranquility. The owners are very caring, friendly and accommodating making the experience one of a kind. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would love to return in the future. Thank you Jarno and Julia!

There was a kitchen complete with cooking equipment, with plates, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, so you can cook your own meals and keep your costs down. There’s a coffee machine too. If you book airport transfers with them, they will take you to the supermarket first before proceeding to the Cabin so you can buy everything you need. The hosts Jaana and Mika were very kind and gracious. They even allowed us to check out late for free when they learned that our flight would leave at 6:00pm. If you’re thinking of spending time in Lapland, stay at Polar Aurora Cabins. You will not regret it.
