Extremely hospitable host (he was made for such a job as this); large, clean bedroom and bathroom; plashing waves right outside the window; wonderful views from the terrace; an excellent hand-made breakfast of fruit and yogurt, bread with salami and sliced cherry tomatoes and fresh croissants. And the location!

Kala Rooms, a guest house, is a property located in Palermo. This guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Extremely modern rooms in the city center of Palermo, our room had a great view with the balcony right above the main square! Everything is brand new and renovated, beds are extremely comfortable! For breakfast you get coupons with 3 available items for the nearby caffee bar. The food itself is delicious but keep in mind that except for the toast all the items are pieces of sweet pastry which might not be enough for people prefering big breakfast. If you want egg omlette it costs extra. Fortunately there's a fridge in the rooms so you can get something by yourself too. Otherwise absolutely great choice for travellers, the host is very helpful and responsive, would definitely stay here again!

Excellent breakfast and plenty of it. No. 1 bus from the train station if you don't want to walk or take a taxi.

The location was great and Martina was very helpful with anything we needed. She served a lot of food during breakfast and got me some things because I eat Gluten-Free.

The highlight of our stay was the incredibly friendly owners who showed the best hospitality we have ever experienced. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel like cherished guests in their home. The hotel itself is a charming little place with beautiful antique decor, giving it a unique and cozy atmosphere. The location is also a major plus, offering easy access to the city while still maintaining a peaceful ambiance. The neighborhood was quiet, as were the other guests, which made it perfect for a romantic trip without the distraction of noisy children.
