What a fantastic time my two dogs and I had here! We were greeted by the very helpful and friendly Tony who showed us round our room and the communal areas. He was very helpful and kicked our stay off to a wonderful start. It was just a one night stop over before an event in the area the next day but it felt like a mini holiday. The hostel is the most well equipped, clean and modern hostel I've ever stayed in! Everything you could possibly need during your stay, especially the kitchen facilities - free tea, coffee and cooking essentials were so helpful. Easy, free parking right outside the front door too. It was spacious and comfortable, truly dog friendly and the rooms were immaculate. Will definitely be back again when I'm next in the area.

Boasting a shared lounge, Blue Room Hostel Newquay is set in the centre of Newquay, 500 metres from Tolcarne Beach. Lee was an amazing host who was extremely friendly and recommended some great places for local food when I was over. He was extremely professional, friendly and warm. Would absolutely come again to a place as well run as his blue room house!

The owner here was very kind and helped me to think about me and spend a good time. The rooms are very clean and have a great night. I've wanted to stay again, and I would like others to stay too!

The Onefam Waterloo has a lively atmosphere as a social party hostel designed for young backpackers and solo travellers. The staff was amazing and really nice, other travellers were also really nice. Everything is really clean and the hostel is really well-located.

Set within 43 km of St James' Park and 44 km of Newcastle Train Station, Newbrough Bunkhouse offers rooms in Hexham. Nice and clean place in the peaceful country side close to Hexham and some of the main sights along Hadrian's Wall. Nick was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It was a quiet week so had the whole place to myself, but everything I needed was at the hostel/bunkhouse. Basic breakfast available for a cheap price, good WiFi, beautiful nature surroundings and quiet so I could get a good night's sleep. Good budget accommodation to stay for a few nights. Hexham is a 17 minutes drive with bus, the bus came only every second hour, but was always on time, so getting back and forth was relatively easy.
