Situated in Tokyo, 700 metres from Kameari Kochikame Statue, MAKOTO GUESTHOUSE -Enjoy your stay- provides air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. This place is perfect if you wish to socialize with fellow travelers! Very clean place, ample connectivity options, as well as spacious sleeping quarters. Just bring an extra extension cable, as power connections tend to get filled up fast, due to the number of people connecting their laptops to the place. I can't recommend this place enough! Access to the train station is also reasonable and is a 15-minute walk from the guesthouse to Kameari station. Also, if your birthday falls during your stay, the host will celebrate it by setting up a small dinner for you! :D Very personal touch to a very wonderful experience!

Conveniently situated in the Chiyoda district of Tokyo, Backpacker's Mini House is located 300 metres from Bellesalle Kanda, 600 metres from Nikkei Hall and 700 metres from Tokiwa Park. Every morning, Jij prepares a table for breakfast, where you can eat toasted bread with jam and a boiled egg (and of course, coffee !) He is really good with his guests and always willing to help. The atmosphere there is nice, and the old man (this is how he is called) is always in for a chat and a laugh! The accommodation is nice, clean, just what is needed for a backpacker on a few day's trip to Tokyo!

There’s big common area where people can gather together. Had nice chat with people from around the world. The location is convenient as well.

Set in the Nakano district, GrapeHouse Koenji offers female-only accommodation with free WiFi. Yokohama is 30 km from GrapeHouse Koenji, while Chiba is 44 km away. Amazing atmosphere, kind owner and cute dog, made new friends there and it’s also super close to Koenji station, I will definitely book again

The cosy Tokyo Hikari Guesthouse offers private rooms and dorm beds, only a 1-minute walk from Kuramae Subway Station. Had an amazing experience at the guesthouse, and Isa-san was an amazing host. The dorm beds have sturdy wooden frames, which makes them way more comfortable. The atmosphere of the guesthouse was also very calm and friendly, and I got to meet some amazing people during my short stay. Will definitely book again next time I come to Tokyo!

Located just a 5-minute train ride from Haneda Airport, 328 Hostel & Lounge offers cosy accommodation fitted with free WiFi and a shared kitchen. Anamori Inari Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. It was the most beautiful experience I have had in recent years in my multiple travels around the world map. Everything is superlative. The host is particularly hospitable and always with a smile on her face. The atmosphere in the hotel is particularly warm, with guests having the opportunity to socialize in the living room on the ground floor. Strict rules regarding quietness and cleanliness are kept, which is very good. The cleanliness is exceptional and everything at a great price. You have at your disposal a refrigerator and a kitchen equipped with everything for serving and heating your own food. The location is also privileged. Conveniently situated in the centre of Tokyo, Akasaka Guesthouse HIVE provides air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. Literally everything ! Kaori welcomed me very warmly and the place was nice to stay at!

Set within 600 metres of Tokaku-ji Temple and 500 metres of Ryukoku-ji Temple, 上野之家分館家庭房 offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tokyo. It’s super clean and nice. And the owner is super friendly, they let us check in early and let us put our luggage’s at their place after we check out.
