Set in Norrtälje, within 2 km of Östhamra, Berglings Boutique Hotell offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. Place was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the added take away breakfast when requested was the cherry on top to make the experience absolutely exceptional.

Siggesta Gård is located in the countryside of Värmdö and offers a sun terrace, parking, bookable sauna and hot tub. WiFi are free for guests. This hotel was perfect for our weekend retreat. While located in the beautiful countryside, it's still easy to reach from Stockholm center. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bed was extra comfy! We especially loved the breakfast buffet made from local organic ingredients.

Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. We wanted a break from hard travel and are so glad we chose Fredriksborg. The rooms are very simple with a terrific outlook. The location is remarkable, on a hill above the deep water channel going in and out of Stockholm. The first time we saw a huge ship gliding by above eye level was a happy surprise. The dinner served at their restaurant was superb. But the best of all is the staff. They take great pride in the history of the location and its role in the defense of Stockholm in centuries past. Pontus (spelling ?) went out of his way to show us the property as well as to drive us to the ferry for the return to Stockholm. We were very appreciative.

Surrounded by nature, Marholmen is located 350 metres from a private beach in the Roslagen Archipelago. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant. Superb surroundings and grounds. A shame we were only staying one night otherwise we could have explored more. Food excellent. As we were catching an early ferry the restaurant provided an excellent packed breakfast and hot drinks. Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference centre Fågelbrohus offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the centre of Stockholm. We loved staying here and will come back. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome since the first minute. The room was big with good facilities. The spa with saunas was very nice and the common areas were beautifully decorated. It t was extra charming to be there in December when there was snow and Christmas decorations.

Hotell Åtellet bol znovu otvorený v apríli 2009. Nachádza sa pri ústí rieky Norrtälje, v pešej vzdialenosti od súostrovia a mora. Centrum Štokholmu je situované v pohodlnej vzdialenosti autobusom. Good breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and nice stuff.
