Miyajima Seaside Hotel

Miyajima

Japanese-style rooms feature a tatami (woven mat) floor and shoji sliding paper screens. Some rooms offer tranquil views of the Seto Inland Sea. They are fitted with an LCD TV, a mini-fridge and traditional futon beds. An en suite bathroom and yukata robes are provided. The Japanese style room was beautiful. The staff attitude could not be better. The table tennis table made our night.

Oyado Tsukiusagi

Miyajima

Rooms feature a traditional minimalist interior with a tatami (woven-straw) floor, Japanese decorations and traditional futon bedding. They are fitted with air conditioning, a TV and a bathroom with a shower, bathtub and toilet. Fantastic stay! The lady who runs the ryokan is very kind and helpful, always with a smile. She doesn't speak English, but magically understands any need. Very large room, very comfortable bed. Lovely place!

Jukeiso

Miyajima

Besides amazing nature views, comfortable rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and an en suite bathroom. Yukata robes and green tea are provided. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on the tatami (woven mat) floor. We got the best room in the house and was incredible. We really felt so welcoming from the moment we step in. Amazing detail even at the entrance with the last name of the guest. The food was incredible and the ladies serving us soo nice and really cute Thank you to the awesome staff!

Iwaso

Miyajima

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Rooms in the Annex include a private bathroom with a bath and toilet, while rooms in the historical Main Building and Cottage Annex have shared bathrooms and toilets. The attention to detail at this resort was impeccable, as was the quality of service. It is perfectly situated, being far enough away from the crowds, but within easy walking distance of the Torii gate, the "downtown" area, and the ropeway station for the ride up the mountain. Adjacent to the facility is a picturesque stream with the quintessential red colored pedestrian bridge. Be sure to sign up for the delicious breakfast and dinner; the same meal enjoyed by the heads of state at the recent G7 Summit held here. I will definitely be returning with my spouse to bask in the peace and tranquility of Miyajima.

We highly appreciated our time on the beautiful island of Myajima!

Yukata robes and a private toilet are included in each room, but bathrooms are shared. The shared bath is available from 16:00 to 23:00. Absolutely amazing meals, both breakfast and dinner. Onsen was life saver after a hike to Mt misen. Futon beds were also comfortable enough for a good night sleep.

Kinsuikan

Miyajima

All units in the ryokan are equipped with a coffee machine. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units will provide guests with air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. We arranged for dinner in our room, which was amazing. There was a slight language barrier at dinner, but there were English-printed menus. The location was great, right near the Tori gates. We could go out at night and see the lights since the main door is open until Midnight. The staff was very accommodating.

Miyajima Hanare no Yado IBUKU

Miyajima

The ryokan will provide guests with air-conditioned units offering a desk, a coffee machine, a fridge, a minibar, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a bidet. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. At the ryokan, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. There is nothing I could fault about this resort. We even had private shuttle taking us to train terminal

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa

Miyajima

Located within 2.3 km of Tsutsumigaura Beach and 500 metres of Five Storey Pagoda, Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Miyajima. This 2-star ryokan offers luggage storage space and a housekeeping service. Momijidani Park is less than 1 km away and Museum of History and Folklore is a 12-minute walk from the ryokan. Great place to stay! They serve a traditional Japanese breakfast. They also do dinner but advance reservation is required. I don’t recall seeing that as an option when booking so I assume you call ahead if you are wanting dinner. Dining options are limited in the evening on the island.
